I agree, infact if BMW released the 330i touring here, I would have purchased it hands down. The American market sucks. If you go to Europe, you would be hard pressed not to find a touring over a coupe or sedan.

i like how the car atleast maintains the 3er design despite the "igor hump." You can look at this car for kilometers away and still knows its a 3er. Other cars just plain look fugly in the station wagon form compared to their sedan counterparts. We can all blame japanese manufactures for poisoning American taste enough for there not to be a strong market for sports wagons.

everywhere else in the world, suvs suck. in america everyone loves them (not sure why). bmw probably saw a e91 335 as a threat to the x3 and x5, as they are primarily geared towards americans. that and americans are so wagon crazy
