9" is the ideal width for 255 - Side walls should be close to square.

Do-able, not stretched at all, depending on the tire.

I have my OEM 255/35 rfts on my 9.5'' VMR VB3s and I hate it. Im sure it wont be as bad on a 9'' rim though. I need new tires this summer and am switching up to 265/35...

I have Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric performance tires (Non-RFT) 255/35/18 that would go on 18x9. 18x8.5 is the stock wheel width.

BKR335 - Any pics by chance?? Just want to compare 8.5 vs 9.5 for rears...

18x9 is a very good size for a 255/35/18 tire.
