Coding E90 HID to Halogen.

I mistakenly bought Halogens instead of HID. My question is. Can i use this halogen headlights since I cant return them ? And code the car to use Halogen instead of HIDs. Im getting stepper motor errors 9CBF and 9CC0 and No message to (driving lights) E598

I don't understand. So you had HID (OEM Xenon???) and you bought halogen lights by mistake?

Where are your existing xenon headlights and why would you want to replace them?

Just sell the halogens and put the Xenons back in. If you want halogens you'll need to at the very least code FRM module - possibly even rewire depending on your current setup.

Im from south america. I bought a car that was hit in the front from the US. and it came with halogen headlights that where broken. I thought that the headlights where originally from the car so I bought the new ones. I dont have the old HID HL. So, I just want to code the FRM to use this headlights if possible. Dont want to spend 2k on a new set up.

What were the headlights you had before though...

We're they OEM factory fitted xenon? OEM ballasts etc etc?

If yes, the. You'd need to edit the VO to tell the vehicle it has halogens and not xenons, then code the vehicle back to default.
