So whats the cheapest way to lower our xi's?

I would love kw v1 coilovers but i dont have the almost 2k for purchase and labor...i was curious about just going with springs but i dont wanna possibly shorten the life of the rest of my stock struts n what not...i been reading around and still havent found a definite answer...so long story short whats the cheapest route we can go to lower our cars to get rid of the 4x4 look...and what products/brands do you recommend as in springs and what not....also dont wanna make my ride that much worse then it already is lol

Wait a little longer and save up more money to buy real coilovers. Your car isn't going anywhere contrary to what you may believe.

You can buy them for just over $1K and put them in yourself. That will save you 50% from what you quoted above.

KW's have gone up in price. The lowest I've been quoted recently is $1350 shipped.

Ya, it seems across the board all coilovers went up in price at the beginning of the year. I was lucky enough to get my order in for my asts before the price went up about $200.

Not sure what the justification was but I dont think it was on the dealer end, it was from the manufactures supposedly.

Good luck with the purchase.

Dead body would have lost most of its fluids making the body lighter. Put another fat guy in the trunk and just pistol whip him to knock him out. If you are on a long trip, you can repeat process every time you fill up the tank.

Who the hell is Jesse? Why would I listen to him? And why doesn't he know that Koni doesn't make front-anything for XIs?

To clarify, KONI does not make any shocks for the xi aka x-drive vehicles. If you're looking for a shock upgrade/replacement you can explore the option of getting Bilstein shocks which are a bit on the expensive side. You can also explore the option of going with the KW V1 XI coilovers and do it right the first time around. The answer is simple, you get what you pay for when it comes to vehicle suspension. As such a crucial component of your vehicle, suspension is definitely something you do not want to cheap out on. A coilover suspension basically gives you a matched lowering spring and shock absorber combination with the added benefit of adjustable ride height and spring rates through a movable spring perch or perches. Coilovers are to your car's advantage by reducing unsprung mass, increasing suspension travel, and allowing the car to be corner balanced. I am running some killer deals on KW coilovers for you guys as well so feel free to drop me a PM if you guys have any questions at all!
