Hah. I'd feel the opposite of small mate.
Something very sexual about a woman driving a powerful car.

Youre right mate, I have seen you drive (throttle off/on) so you would maybe top 7 mpg in an M3

...given the fact he's currently slumming it like me in an E46 330i the change will be even sweeter (until he see's the tax deduction on his first payslip - small price to pay in my eyes).

If my business partner wasn't so uninterested in cars I think I'd be in similar - new business partner needed I think .

Hmmm...

The P11D value is about 21K p/a (35% of 60k), so as a 40% payer he'll be paying 700 a month in extra tax..... not quite 'a bargain' but at least he won't be insuring / maintaining it himself

Great company car but as mentioned, the BIK tax will be horrendous.

We keep our motors totally separate from business - just claim mileage. Unless you want to drive a pious or simiar, you get utterly raped by HMRC. Especially for a Landy!

Yup, about 700 a month extra income tax for a high rate payer.

335d, same here, buy the car yourself and pay yourself the max mileage rate. CO2 has no effect on the AMR (yet)

By the sound of it the 'package' was being adjusted to take into consideration the extra costs involved but it's all relative isn't it, that extra cash could have gone to something else.

If you want a nice car, all fully maintained & taxed, fuel paid for (more cost of course), then it's a nice trouble free way of doing it. Plus if you're made redundant (not that it's a concern) or leave you're not left with an expensive car on your hands...

...no servicing costs, no tax to be bought (at an ever increasing rate), fuel (at an ever increasing rate), etc...

Plus, as I mentioned about (probably written as you typed), if anything doesn't work out you just give the keys back and walk away.

Obviously the only possible worry is they adjust the tax yet further to kick you in the knackers but surely it can't get any worse .
