From what I understand most people are happy to have the version 4 and not 5.

If you want some good info talk to Vishnu by calling in. They is easy to talk to

I do not want to give you bad info or act like I know the diff lol.

if the unit has never been upgraded to V5, then it should be free for the first person to upgrade it. Once upgraded, however, there is a fee to remove the "vin lock" in order to install it on a car other than the first car it is installed on AFTER the V5 update. Hope that helps. GLWS

This is the $895 version. I believe they call it the Tuner version.

The older crappy versions comes with no controls. You had to use a remote to turn the tune on and off. This one has many options that you control through menus in the car. You do not have to go through the menus and change things, you can simply use map one or map 2...

Any model not updated to V5 becomes the professional model once updated to V5. The thread with ALL the info on upgrading can be found HERE. upgrade your OP with this OP to save yourself the headache of all these already answered questions.

$600 is a pretty crazy deal for a RevII that isn't vin locked.. if it truly is a RevII and there is nothing wrong with it...
