What all does it take for average joe to get a tax stamp. I would LOVE a SBR personally. I also kind of want a supressor for my glock, but that is purely for cool factor.

I have no trust or LLC so I am supposing I would need one of those, but I am pretty oblivious to how to go about that?

You just have to apply for it, submit for the background check, pay the fees, and wait.

Thank you sir! You and NYC are quite persuasive.

What I think I'll do is buy the MK18 upper and get that in right away. I'll pick up a AR pistol lower so I can enjoy the 10.3" upper until my tax stamp comes in. That's going to be a brutal wait.

6.8 is no joke. Nice stick!

FWIW, I'd take a hard and careful look at the SIG 516. I have read some scathing reviews and a friend of mine recently sold his because he was less than enamored with the build quality and performance.
Thanks, I love the PSD, it is truly a badass little toy!! Its so versitile, you can literally use it for any situation .... besides very large game hunting. Also, thanks for the heads up on the 516, ive seen the torture tests and it seems to withstand alot. My other option is try and get my hands on an HK416 or the G36C semi version, Id be willing to pay a premium on that one as they are a pain in the ass to get stateside.

ALSO, who here is from Colorado? we should do a range night or something, we can bring our toys (M3 included) and have some fun!

Trusts are easy to get, I just got one.

Tax stamp is fairly easy to get the Trust route is easier as you are not needing fingerprints, pictures, CLEO signatures (thats a big problem for some counties). With a trust you just fill out your ATF form 4 (dealer can help with this if needed), send your trust your info with it and sit back and wait.
The Individual route is slower and more involved.

Some might say an SBR is just for cool factor, but I dont think so, I got it cause it can be used for almost any situation, defense, hunting. Supressors again similar argument and not just a cool thing but a sitational thing and very useful.

Anyways, just my opinion. Also, if you are able to get these things I would suggest doing so while you still can. Government is locking down everyones freedoms a little at a time these days...

Here's mine:

LMT Defender in 5.56, Comp Medieval flash hider, Daniel Defense quad rail with Magpul XTM panels and a ladder rail guard on top, Troy rear flip-up sight and a Magpul ASAP and MS2 sling. Still need to get a few things (optic and light), but it is fun to shoot.

I see it the other way around- don't get the silencers, SBR's, etc.

Pretty safe bet you're on a list somewhere that way. Stick with the easily accessible stuff that might become illegal.

What's another list.
Everyone is on a list. Got Facebook? They know more about you than they know about me with my class 3 stuff.

What I'm saying is that if gun control ever tightens to the point of confiscation, Class 3 guys will be the first ones to get a letter in the mail or knock on the door.

I tend to agree with this. Although if you're on the list for x and they show up and take x, you're off their list while still hanging on to y & z.

I have been seeking second hand private sales for new firearms lately.

Here's mine. Since I took this pic I added a Burris 4x illuminated site (sorta budget-ACOG-ish) with a Burris red dot on top.
