i ordered my 325xi, can i negotiate still?

I have ordered the 325xi about a month ago and put $1000 for deposit. The sales person told me there was no room for negotiation because there is such a high demand and waiting list. So i got the 325xi in alpine white, automatic, leatherette, xenons, navigation, upgraded rims for $300, BMW assist with bluetooth, sports package, power seats w/memory totalling $40,615 ($200 under MSRP). Can i negotiate this when the car comes in; The sale is not final yet...please help me!

You're in a tough position. Did you shop around other dealerships for better prices at the time?

take your deposit and go elsewhere

This place is littered with people all over the world that negotiated a fair price with the dealer, so don't let them run that crap on you.

So the need to get the car sooner justified the price (totally understandable)? How long did the other dealerships tell you it would take to get the car, and were their prices better? Is the deposit refundable?

Another thing - your car seems to be pretty specialized with those options. The dealership might have a harder time selling this car now that it's in production, giving you more leverage. just a thought.

It appears that you an offer was made and accepted which to me is a contract. I think you are obligated as is the dealer to what was agreed upon.

It's a new upgrade option this year for Xi's. You can upgrade the Xi's SP to the performance staggered tires on the AWD now. The regular SP on an Xi gives you the same size all-seasons. Basically it gives the Xi the same SP wheels/tires as a RWD e90.
