Getting a New E90 325XI , need advice

My dealer quote me for the following
2006 BMW 325xi Sedan
Exterior Monaco Blue Metallic
Interior Aluminum Trim/Black Leatherette
Packages Cold Weather Package

Options
STEPTRONIC Automatic Transmission
Comfort Access
Power Front Seats w/Driver Memory

MSRP is $37,590.00
Invoice is $34,500.00
Dealer $36,100.00

price is $1,600.00 over invoice and $1,490.00 off MSRP

is this a good deal?

Why don't you get the premium package instead of paying $900 for the seats? Is that because you don't like leather and bluetooth?

The difference is how you pay makes a difference on the total price of the car(monthly). If your worried about monthly payments there are ways to lower or higher those payments. But if your paying cash then you may be able to haggle more in some cases. My dealer told me that it's actually worse to pay with cash because they would rather lease or finace you. What I do is find out exactly what I want(all options, etc.) then take the price from this dealer to the next and the next and I bet you that they beat it. If nobody can beat it then assume it's a good deal. I saved almost a $100 a month on my X3 by doing so. It seems with a new BMW that they don't seem to discount the MSRP much if not at all. But they should be able to give you their cost on any options EG. Logic 7 $1400 = dealer cost $1090...Hope this helps..
