Cobb AP Communication Error

I followed the directions to a T but the Cobb AP unit cannot connect to my 2007 335i at all...this doesn't seem like a very common problem either.

*EDIT: Problem was remedied by checking the 'Check for beta firmware' box under the Options tab in the AP Manager and updating the unit.

I'm assuming you updated firmware, correct? If so, in the AP manager software under options, make sure you check the "Beta firmware" checkbox, as the "regular" firmware updates don't talk to the '07's. The Beta Firmware checkbox is NOT checked by default, so make sure you check it if you haven't already.

It worked! Thank you! Install was a breeze.

I just got back from the test drive. I was grinning the ENTIRE time.

Wow. This thing puts out incredible power. For an average, untuned otherwise stock guy THIS is THE tune to get.

It was only a short drive. I will report back with specifics including data logging soon.

Share some logs if you get the time. Would be interesting to see logs from different cars

The install was truly flawless after I got everything sorted out.

The drive after was one of the most exhilarating times I've had in my car to date! And I've owned it for over 4 years now!
