I'm in Rochester, just got an 08 black 335xi with tint, black grills, and V710s. I'm definitely down for some beers at some point, and anyone else go to RIT?

I run map 2 on 93rm2 or Map 7 on 50/50 e85/93rm2

It's a monster on map 7 with the e85 and my 99octane mix only costs me $3.40 a gallon!

I bought from Schmitt in Buffalo and I only go there for service. I've made friends with a lot of them and can set you up with a salesman, SA, etc...
I regularly go in with FULL bolt-ons still installed and various other parts (smarttop, modmynav) and have no trouble. I only take out my jb4 when I am getting engine work done or unknown troubleshooting...

I don't go to RIT yet but I've registered every quarter for the last year and a half to start lol. I may get around to it one day!

Thats awesome, sounds like good people over there at Schmitt. I just might take you up on that when it comes time to get work done on my car. I would love to see your car as well.

How far of a hike is it to Schmitt from Rochester? And have you had any dealings with West Herr here? Thats where I bought the car, but I wouldn't recommend the sales end to anyone, haven't had service side work yet. Doubt I will since I've had the car less than a month and I just bought a JB4, and some other stuff.

45min there. They always give excellent loaners and they take requests. On more than one occasion they have driven my car out to me when I didn't have time to get it too. But just keep in mind that I bought my car there.

MY MISTAKE EVERYONE- Towne BMW, Schmitt Audi lol

When I bought my Audi at Schmitt I would take it to holttz for work. They are useless and incompetent. If you need work, it's usually best to hit your original dealer. Holtz would give me Honda and Mazda loaners on my 2010 A5. Towne always gives me bmw's. Usually 2010 or newer too.

I've heard west Herr sucks. I have a friend who is the finance manager there and another friend who may take. Job in sales there. If that happens, you guysshoukd have no problem...

From my experience in the past with formerly Holtz and now West Herr with service at BMW hasn't been all that great. Family and friends with other BMWs all try to avoid going there. This is why I asked about a better place to go...Loving this thread and the poeple/information on it.

As long as you're not riced out with jet black windows and big chrome wheels and a wing, no cop is going to pull you over for that.

In five years I've never gotten a ticket for it. Driven through countless registration/inspection/dui check points, never even a word...
