but you had a white car, i'll be having a blue car lol would that make any difference?

btw, how do you run your car during the winter? snow tires?

No matter what a cop pulls you over for, he has a meter that measures light transmission through your windows. So for me, having a white car just increased the contrast and made cops think I was more illegal than I really was; the problem lies in that I was illegal, lol. Point is, it doesnt matter what it "looks" like, you should keep it legal lol.

Snows in the winter, no problems...

What snow tires do you guys recommend for the 335i?
I plan on buying some this fall for it. I had a 530i for my last car and blizzaks made it seems like I had AWD. Loved them.

btw, isn't all tint in NY illegal? I plan on doing that too but nothing real dark because I don't feel like paying for endless tickets. Maybe 35? or 25-20? What do you guys think?

hey guys. i have a dark gray 335xi coupe in buffalo. 35% tint is the way to go. i have it on my evo and nobody messes with me (no front plate either haha). i had a g35 coupe with 20% tint before and i used to get harrassed constantly. my bimmer is legal for now (front plate + no tint) but i'll probably change that up this summer.

35% is the limit...

I never got harassed for one or the other until I had both (20% and no front plate) lol. So, I recommend legal tint and no plate...

From what I have seen, people driving cars that scream for attention or stand out in a negative way(loud, visually loud, driving like a maniac) are much more apt to be pulled over for tint or no front plate.

I personally hate the thought of messing with the lines and aesthetics of a front end by drilling.

Blizzacks are great, and Hakkas are probably the best you can get however they are tough on some budgets depending on the size.

I will do some research for you Flower city guys. Being a restorative detailing service provider, you would think I should be side by with a quality paint shop but some places are so incredibly spotty(one week amazing, next week not so hot) that it is truly tough to recommend a consistent person, even out here.

Also, I'm starting to get into the detailing side of things. I priced it out at around $700 for everything I need in fair quantity for full leather treatment, interior, wash/dry, 2 stage polish, sealant, wax, clay, etc including orbital...

Not sure if I'm prepared for that type of fiscal commitment. What is the going rate for such things as I just spoke of and what products steps do you offer in your services?

WE ALL NEED TO MEET UP AND GRAB A BEER WHILE PHILLY IS OUT HERE SO I CAN SEE HIS LMB. If it's just me, it will be a man date and I don't need that on my rap.
