Tint shops in NC

Can anyone in the NC area suggest a good tint place? And what type of tint you have or are getting?

i suggest you search for an authroized dealer for the tint you want, i wanted forumala 1 tint and checked for the nearest, there was only one shop within 40 miles that was authorized installer of forumula one

made it really easy

got 15% f1 ceramic, no problems with CA and i dont have to worry about mounting my detector below the A1 strip either

Where you at in NC? I was planning on going to Formula1 in Raleigh over on Spring Forest Rd. And I'm pretty sure I'm getting 35% Pinnacle series. It's a little pricey cause it's the ceramic based stuff, but from pics I've seen it looks great (and no worries about messing with my CA or Nav frequencies).

I'm in Raleigh. I had my TSX tinted by Formula 1 as well. They did a good job, but I just wanted to see if there were any other nearby places.

I had my 35% Pinnacle series done at Formula 1 of Apex (near to Cary Automall) by Riky. He has done several cars for me and my friends. Does an excellent job, but $$$.

I'm in Fayetteville, but would gladly drive up to Cary for a decent tint job. Do you remember what it cost for the 35%?

I'm looking for a place to install formula1 pinnacle tint in Wilmington. I think i'll end up going with coastal tinting since they are the only place around here that does formula one tint. I need to get a quote from them.

What is the max tint that is legal? I thought 32% was the max. I'm not sure...I just got back from overseas but was interested in getting some tint to take the bite out of the hot sun.

35% in NC on the fronts, the rears dont matter. Just register the car somewhere that dont require inspections then you dont have to worry bout it.
