S1 jpg straight out of the camera. no NR.
lens is really sharp even wide open. but check out the vignetting (something i really don't mind at all).

i think this was 1/60 or 1/125 and f/2.8 and iso 800. poor framing - i was trying to get him to laugh.

This is great for a $200 lens. I was looking for sample pics today and was wondering about the vignetting as well.

DPP or DxO will automatically correct the vignetting in RAW conversion, if you like.

string on a 1/4-20 screw mounted to camera tripod hole, other end on something that will be snug under your foot/weight (like a fat 2" washer).
