so many things to say about that car that i don't have the will to write. comparing a modified 335i to one is just stupid, for one. you might get the power but the aural experience is completely outmatched. the interior gets revised to look better than the E9X's imo (current C interior is definitely behind the E9X's in both material quality and design; par for build quality). not to get too into it, but the C63's balance is iffy in corners w/o TC on, and straightline performance is fast but the linear delivery doesn't deliver the same "oomph" feel that the N54 might.

my guess is that the facelifted version will be better than the M3 as a daily driver without a doubt. i'd still take the M3 for the weekends anytime though.

I have driven C63 AMG, modded 335i, modded M3 and Here's what I think

3rd Place. C63 AMG - This what my brother drives and I drove it few times.
In conclusion, Lack of LSD. Okay I jumped into conclusion even before typing anything up because Lack of LSD is what kills C63. Really. Unless you do some wide rear conversion and slap on some 315's in the back. Car looks amazing from the front but then rear needs to be widened! if it cost more than $25000 over regular C-Class at least give'em some fat booty! Seats are amazing. Interior isn't bad, however I do think BMW has slight edge on this. Sound is absolutely insane for stock vehicle but it is not as pretty compare to modded M3 with Intake & Exhaust. It's like Metallica vs Luciano Pavarotti. Of course M3 is latter. More defined yet powerful enough. Handling...well it actually surprised me being the fact it's Mercedes. C63 handles pretty well, but with not so good grip & outrageous power, it becomes questionable. Oh one last thing, brake system on this car is thumbs up.

2nd Place. Modded 335i - This is what I drive and I love N54.
I will take modded 335i over C63 AMG ANYDAY! that's because my car is heavily modded 335i It's got the hp/tq that surpass C63, has LSD, pretty much outperforms C63 in every category. fully modded 335i will be about the same price as C63 AMG. Only with better mpg with less maintenance cost. For example, I took C63 in for service, $300 oil change? Crazy. If you don't care about AMG badge or Mercedes badge on your car then it's no brainer. I'm sure you know better since you own one

1st Place. E90 M3 - I took LTBMW's E90 M3 for a week.
This right here is the masterpiece. This machine handles like dream. Complete drivers car. C63 will be moved by your gas foot just like any other cars, but here's the tricky part, once it starts moving at fairly high speed, you will feel you don't have 100% control over the car. Sure it will get 0-100 in no time but you don't feel that 'Planted' feel while doing so. You should know exactly what I am talking about since you test drove one. But M3...oh man...okay LTBMW was kind enough let me borrow the M3 while my car was getting some work done. I took the M3 home and first thing I did was open the internet explorer and start ordering rest of M3 suspension bits. I always thought my 335i with LSD, PSS10, M3 strut brace, M3 Front/Rear sway bar handles freaking awesome. I believe LTBMW's M3 only has aftermarket springs on, suspension mod-wise. I don't know how much straight line during your daily driving times but think twice before you jump into C63. Even better, test drive C63 and M3 back to back. That's what I did once I got home and M3 hands down. The whole balance of the car is just perfect for everyday driving or track events. See just like the OP, english is my second language and I hate typing. But I had to write this, because my one week experinece with M3 was just mind blowing. Am I exaggerating? Well maybe. That's just how I fell when I drove the car. Planted, safe, plenty fast, sounds intoxicating with aftermarket Intake & Exhaust (Surprisngly, Intake sounds awfully good on this car, more so than the exhaust) LSD, handling, handling and handling.

Bottom line - If you drive AMG, it will make you scream OMG!! (that could be good or bad) If you drive N54, it will makes you wonder what N54 means and what it can do. If you drive M3..well...as long as you are in the drivers seat than MMM~ is all you will say

hm. c63 makes 451bhp. that's easily attained by a 335 with a tune and dp's. plus the 335 is down 350lb in weight. hard for me to imagine a much felt power improvement. atleast not while the 335i is running good.... likely due to the power just being delivered differently I suppose.

my 335i is running on jb3 map 5, catless dp, intercooler and i still can feel the big difference. Theres no replacement for displacement

Driving a stock one... Already an Absolute beast. Ridiculous. I think it may take more then a tune/dp only N54 to take it. They really impress me.

with the ecu, exhaust , intake , header and all the goodies, you can probably add almost up to 100HP without adding supercharger/turbo.

wat? it hasn't come out yet. i'm expecting a leader when it arrives. unfortunately every time i mention that car i have to post pics to annoy some people. seriously anxious to see and hear this thing in person. i can't get over how much i love its steering wheel. as BMW is making their wheels chunkier (F10 for example), Benz is actually fixing theirs (this new coupe, the new CLS). i typically find benz steering wheels to be the worst of the bunch too.

^^^ True. Merc steering wheels have always been shit but that one looks amazing. That interior is really nice too. For me it is now better than the E9x.

Here are first spy photos of the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series Coupe. These photos were taken at Mercedes' technical development center near the Nürburgring.

Earlier this week spy photographers captured first photos of the C63 AMG Black Series in sedan form. AMG boss, Ola Kallenius, has previously hinted that two Black Series variants were on the way.

Typical of Black Series models, this prototype has much wider wheel arches and looks a little lower to the ground than the series C63 AMG Coupe. Spies also got a chance to look under the hood while engineers were having a peek. Unfortunately it is inconclusive as to what engine is perched under there.

A previous report places the 5.5-liter V8 biturbo, as seen in the S63 AMG with the AMG Performance Package, which is tuned to produce 571 PS (420 kW / 563 bhp) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque. However, in Black Series guise, it is speculated to produce in excess of 600 PS.

With such a high profile vehicle, there is bound to be such speculation. We'll just have to wait and see.

the torque in the c63 makes it feel like a faster car then the m3, they are both very very close. Drives race.

I recently pulled on one from 40-100 by 2 cars and kept going. My gintani exhaust and challenge x pipe made my car preppy. Ive been waiting to see what the fuss was about the c63's. Poor guy lol he looked mad with his girl next to him. I gave him thumbs up and he just drove off lol. Cant wait to put a supercharger on this badboy

Far too many similar lines for the C63 to beat it on it's own merit in my opinion. Thats not to say the C63 coupe isn't good looking. But I think it's good looking to me because I like the look of the E92 so much.

Even the interiors, if like the sedan, still resemble the BMW. And in a world where power is cheap now, the precision the M3 provides sets it apart.

As for the 335i comparison, can we please end this? These comments have been going on for the better part of a decade, and in the end you are comparing a modified car to a bone stock one. Even worse a turbo to a NA engine, which for the joy of driving there is no comparison unless you enjoy racing down city streets.
