Nav upgrade and keeping the headunit...

Hi folks. I realize this might sound like a stupid question, but I like the idea of having the stock radio/hu and don't really need DVDs. Since the CIC model is hd-based (rather than cd/dvd-based), is it possible to keep the stock radio while upgrading - so you have control through the navi screen or head unit?

No because the HD is build into the new head unit. The radio still works the same and looks the same just without one of the CD slots is gone.
