I just got my set installed today and I'm very impressed. As for trimming oem bump stops, I did not do it and everything turned out fine. I dont know if its a difference but my bump stops are off of my ZSP factory suspension. As for ride quality. I love it. I adjusted my rears to full firm and front midway between firm & soft. No bounciness. The look is awesome. I will post pics prolly Saturday. Its supposed to rain tomorrow.

Nice! Give us some more feedback in a couple of days once you've driven a bit more. Have you had your car aligned already or are you waiting for the springs to settle?

I'll be ordering my set this coming week.

Waiting on springs to settle. I will most likely get an alignment next week. Where are you ordering yours from?

Damn dude, when I said they could've been adjusted a little more stiff, I didn't mean full stiff. I was reading koni's site and they didn't even recommend full stiff. Lol.

I dont know exactly where you were reading that info, but I didnt see that on koni website. Furthermore, I consulted with a sales rep which told me that it can be set anywhere to suit your driving conditions. Full firm or full soft won't affect the shocks.

I just had mine done a few days ago also. Adjusted my front/rears 1 full turn from full soft (40/50%). The ride feels amazing, very similar to stock while cruising but can take turns much faster. You feel like you have more contact with the road, it's fantastic. The springs lowered the car about 1 inch over the ZSP suspension, there is zero gap and perfectly flush with 10mm spacers all around.

I used all the ZSP parts and the supplied bolts washers with the Koni's. Wen't on fairly easy if you have lift and all the right tools. No rubbing yet with normal fenders and waiting a week to have it aligned.

^ Looks great!

Having Koni Yellows installed later this week. Probably will set halfway between firm-soft to deal with lousy L.A. roads.

Looks great, man. Once I get mine, I'll probably do 1 full turn (front/back) or maybe even 1.5 turns.... or should the back be stiffer/less stiffer for ideal performance?

So then 1 turn up front and 1.5 turns in the rear?

I see that this is what you recommended in some earlier posts, but I just want to know how it will compare to OEM. If it is too similar, I definitely want to go a little bit firmer.

By the way, did you guys order new strut and shock mounts, or did you just reuse the original hardware? I'm thinking about just getting some new dust boots and calling it a day.

I used all factory mounts including dust boots. Setting the rears to Full firm just feels like factory factory ZSP suspension. The only bad part about the rears are that you have to remove them to re-adjust them.

That's what she said? I agree, I went with 1 full turn (++) but could have probably got a way with 1.5 turns (+++). It rides hella good though and since I don't track too often it's perfect. Just be advised, if you have to adjust the rear down the road, it requires you taking out the shock and using a vice grip to turn it (this also means you need to compress the springs too).

Just a day or two ago I finally got a shop to loosen the strut bolt so I could see where the previous owner had the fronts set at. I've been driving for about a month with no idea.

Turns out the guy had them at FULL stiff, 2.5 turns! The ride is totally acceptable too . I softtened them but didn't like it and put it back to full stiff.

The rears are the TCK external adjustables which have more rebound damping than regular yellows and they are set at 1.25 turns from soft. The car rides smooth.

Even my 82 y/o mom is comfortable.

^^^Hey, I've been reading through every suspension thread possible lately. And of course the sticky I've read multiple times.

Anyway, I saw your post about H&R Sport/yellows. You said it was a god awful ride. You still feel that way? I know you don't have sports anymore...
