Hey guys, kinda Off-Topic, but I'll be in Atlanta this saturday night to celebrate my 21st () and was wondering if yall recommend any bars/clubs worth visiting? Maybe even have a VIP hook-up? but yeah any advice appreciated!

yeah, Opera was definitely on our list of places to go. and there seems to be alot of bars/clubs in that area so I'm sure I'll find something... just seeing what locals recommend

I'd skip Opera unless you can get VIP. I used to know some folks, so maybe I can make a few calls.

Also, if you're looking to stay in the midtown area, Flip Flops (across the street from Opera) would probably be in your wheelhouse.

If you are willing to head to Buckhead, there is always Buckhead Saloon/Parkbench/etc. for your standard bar atmosphere.

And, if you want to travel further, I'd suggest Pub71. It is in the Brookhaven area.

what's the usual minimum requirement for VIP, like 2 bottles at least right?

and yeah we'll be at a concert at Masquerade at the beginning of the night then venture out from there.

If the clubs aren't fun we will probably head to the bars so I'll keep those suggestions in mind!

Anybody know a good indy shop that does reasonably priced brake fluid bleeds? My car is an '07 and I don't believe the brakes have ever been bled. Preferably in the NE ATL (e.g. Alpharetta/Dunwoody/Sandy Springs/Norcross) area...

Call Boris over at Solo Motorsports. http://www.solomotorsports.net. They work on mainly German cars and they will take care of you at reasonable prices. Try to call and get a quote and schedule the work a day in advance so that they can get you in and out. They are off of Buford Hwy and Pleasantdale Rd.

Where'd you two get your LSD's? I really need one....I'm sick and tired of spinning the inside tire!! I did get close to 20k on my set of Conti DW Extreme's.....with two track days!!

We will try to do this again this Sunday Feb 19, 2012. We will meet at Slack's in the new Town Brookhaven. I will be sort of celebrating my birthday(which is Saturday) but nothing big planned. Consider it more of another normal meet.

The address is b1250, 305 Brookhaven Avenue Atlanta, GA 30319.

When you turn into Town Brookhaven, go past Publix and go into the round about and turn right behind the apartments. Slacks is located toward the end of the plaza across from Costco and next to LA Fitness. It's sort of in the cut so look for it. We will try to park by the fence across from Slacks.

We will do a cruise-in from the Varsity. We will meet at the Varsity between 3:30 and 4PM. The meet at Slacks will be at 5PM.

I bought my Quaife from Harold at HPA. My mechanic locally outsourced getting mine shimmed and it roars. I bet Solo can get it right. If I had to do it again I'd be very picky about who did that part of the job.

For sure it's a great mod, just expensive. It's even more needed on the One series since it's very hard for us to get wide rear tires due to our weird offsets.

Depending on the weather, I'll try to make it to Slacks.
