Recommendations for reducing road noise

Maybe it's because I'm getting old, but I'm noticing road noise more and more in my 335d. Having already gotten rid of the terrible OEM RFT tires and moved to the sublime Conti DWS06, there's not a whole lot more I can do in the tire department to reduce road noise. That leaves me thinking about adding some insulation, a la car guys of 10 years ago (Fairly sure I did it to my e30 in 200...7?).

Dynamat is great, but at $1M/sq ft, you're paying for the name, period. I remember there used to be some stuff called Brown Bread, but it looks like they went out of business long ago. And of course there's the infamous roofing material that the kids buy at Home Depot for $5 per roll, and which tends to melt and gum up everything it touches the first time the thermometer hits 90F. So none of those are ideal, which is why I'm out here asking for recommendations, ideas, tricks, experience, or voodoo spells I can use to help cut down on the road noise in my e90. Got something? Post it up!

Not cheap, but doing it right hardly ever is.

Wow. And here I felt a stock E90 was so damn quiet at speed already, to the point it would be so soothing to drive with the radio off and almost lull me to sleep...

Perhaps a Prius is in order.
