Exclamation I-Drive Malfunction

Hello Members,

Need some advice here

When I got into the car today, My 07 I-drive had a malfunction and SOS popped up on dasbboard.
The system was not accessible, Pressed menu did not do anything. Radio and BT not working ...Appeared like all my setting were cleared (no date., time , station, etc). It appeared frozen.

Turned the car off and back on.. same result. I decided to drive anyways, and about 5min into my drive. I-drive rebooted and the system was back again. Control messages: All systems OK.

Anything to worry about ? Similar experinces ?

Had absolutely the same experience with my iDrive. Happen only once or twice. Car was under warranty that time - get free software update.

If not too late - get to your dealer. They can check error code.

It only happend to me once in 4yrs of owning the car. I spoke to service advisor, he adv it could be coz, I don't drive my car on daily basis (which is true since I WFH but I did not tell him that) and the battery could have been low. I have not experinced it back since. Hoping it was the low charge on battery.. not the system itself.

I have to get my last free service oil change done, next month before warrantly expires.. will see if they can check error code.

Don't forget tel them that " you wiper blades" is not working properly - or will be paying $50 very soon.
