Extra speakers? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

My E90 is an 06 reg and has the Professional Stereo, my mate at work has a 56 plate 320i Auto with a Prof. Stereo but he has speakers in the inside of the wing mirror housings in the cabin. Did they change the speaker layout early on I wonder or is it for sommat else. He also has auto folding mirrors btw, mine doesn't but not sure this would have anything to do with it, would it?

He has a better sound system than you. He has tweeters inside the wing mirror covers.

My car, like yours, has a poor sound system.

I've got speakers in my wing mirror covers but I hav'nt got Logic 7, but BMW Business Loudspeaker System. See photo. You can just make the speaker out. I rather like the sound quality!
PS I do rather like your 5 series. I am very tempted!
