FS/FT (NY/LI): Euro Xenon AHL Housings
I remember posting a thread for this same purpose a while back but ended up keeping them on the car. Now I've got something special planned so it makes sense to go back to stock housings first. These were originally stock US-Spec Xenon AHL housings which came installed on my 330i. I had a forum member who's done the process several times open them up for me (marc, luxangeleyes, formerly mds82), after which I cleaned the edges of the lenses and housings, swapped the reflectors, and sealed them back up with GE silicone. The reflectors were purchased off a forum member who I believe sourced them from Poland. They were converted last summer so after a winter/summer cycle, many washes, they have never fogged and work perfectly, as they always have. I'd be happy to demonstrate before the trade. SOLD--Thanks for the interest! Feel free to ask any questions! I'll be available most times during the next 3 weeks; set a time and I'll make myself available. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by yakev724; 07-03-2011 at 10:43 AM. |

My camera can't capture them. You can see them if you look closely at the photos with the projectors on. Theyre uniform and as noted, extremely fine (result of detail without the final step for plastics). Theyll come out with the proper polish/pad combo.
Same goes for the pinhead marks (result from rock chips). Few per headlight, again, not noticeable without very close inspection. I think theyre in better than average condition for 06, I didnt mean to depict them as damaged or worn in any notable way, I just don't want buyers expecting brand new headlights. If anyone has a local detailer (or supplies) available at reasonable cost, Id be happy to get them as perfect as possible prior to trade. |
