First things first, you want to satisfy yourself that the wheels on the car you are looking at are ok - you need some way to be happy, perhaps insisting that they remove each wheel, test it and show you.

They will then know that you know about the potential wheel issues.

It may well be that your wheels are OK and have no faults, which would suggest they may be good castings. If faults are found, there is no debate about them being put right.

Another quick one guys, thank so far for your input.

I've been looking for a car for while and most dealers ahev been open about the cost involved in getting the car ready for sale.

this dealer is a bit cagey, i was told it went through the AUC today ready for weekend collection and nothing was done to it, it was perfect - now my understanding was, put it through AUC then put it on sale as they then know how much the car owes them?

Is this guy feeding me crap? not so keen on sending the AUC report to me prior to collection either.
