Detail and tints - do one before the other?

Any reason to have one done before the other?

Yeah me either, but I've been known to forget about things that are obvious to other people...

I mean...tint requires a drying period, so you wouldn't want to schedule a detail like right after, but other than that...

Seeing that my tint place uses the outside of the windows to template my tints, and usually gets a little goo on the car that they wash off after the tint is done, I'd go with tint first, detail afterwards. I'd make sure it's washed though when you drop it off.

Update, both are done now, tints by Nino @ Umbra and detailing by Steve @ Showcar.

Very happy with both! I'll try to post some pics when there's better light & things cool off a bit...

You mind letting me know what he charged you for the tint?
Thanks!

Definitely tint first. There was a bunch of windex/goo/whatever spray they use on my car after I got mine. Detail after.
