This may not be the best section for this... but who cares, tonight was EPIC and you all should read such a turn of events!

I'm driving home from work right by my home, I give it a bunch of gas around a corner and out of the corner of my left eye I spot a cop!.. Instantly I let off the throttle to quiet my straight piped exhaust, then as I keep driving I notice behind me he pulls a u turn and follows me near my condo complex... as I approach my condo units * on goes his lights * I'm thinking great... I'm going to get nabbed for my exhaust... Well, the cop walks up to my car and I role my windows down, he then says the reason I pulled you over mate was for your window tint. I said What!?!? I roll my window up, step out of my car and when we look at it directly on together he says oh... thats not that bad at all! He said it looked pitch black from the angle the light was reflecting on it when I turned the corner. He then noted he wanted to check out the driver to ensure it wasn't a gang banger lol.. when he saw me wearing a suit and tie with a white smile he relaxed a little.

So here I am, thinking I was going to get an exhaust ticket... when the FIRST thing he says after he established my window tint was * Wow, your exhaust sounds crazy mate * Best bmw I have ever seen in the city by far!. HAHAHA!
We then spent about 10 minutes chatting about my car and mods ETC.
I specifically left out my cat delete.. Just resonator and muffler delete.

It turns out cops love my exhaust, not hate it lol.. I was very lucky...

cop was telling me to rev it up and was like sounds good n he let me off w a warning about the tints..

I didn't even notice that when I posted right after your comment! I was shocked when he pulled me over for my tint... 35%, Tan interior so you can see straight in.. I was like then after talking to him he realized it wasn't dark enough to hastle me.

This was the second wildest cop experience ever.

First one was about 5 years ago, had a cop tailing me for quite a while when I owned my skyline, figured he was going to pull me over to say WTF... is RHD legal and all of that jazz, instead he rolls down his window and gives me a thumbs up! he then takes off like a catipult... probably showing off his cop car v6 LOL... I was NOT about to race him.... just couldn't believe a cop pulled a ricer fly by after giving me the thumbs up for my JDM beast....

I don't know if I would say cop"s" love your exhaust, but at least that one did!!! That was a really cool turn of events.

Oh I know, * cops love my exhaust * is not a valid statement, just based on the circumstances of one police officer.
I was very lucky not to get an expensive ticket, I am thank full! and will continue to drive as nice as possible when I see the guys in blue.
