Oil level slightly over max - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

I've topped up my 320d tonight after a short trip, rechecked the level and its now ever so slightly over the max mark, should I be worried?

Has it been sitting for days before you checked it? If so you will need to check it about 5 mins after a drive

Mine reads just a tiny bit under the max marker but can read 3/4 full when left for quite a while
