I was drivin my 2007 335i coupe today and the battery lights came on; steering wheel got immensly heavier almost like i lost my power steering. ive read this can be caused by a worn alternator belt and was wondering if anyone else encountered this problem.

The car has 79KM on it and BMW calgary quote me
A $200 Deductible plan;

2 extra years or a total of 120000kms = $2781 + GST
3 extra years or a total of 140000kms = $4062 + GST

I was wondering anyone got AMA warranty? Which one better?

Im having exact same problem and found the PS/ALT belt broken My car is still under extended waranty. till sep 2012 it has 66,000 on it. I wonder if this is coverd.
I will check tomorrow. I supect it will not.

See my latest post. They took your extended warranty money when the problem is related to a design issue. There may be a recal on this problem.
I curently have same problem and got dealer to admit to the design issue they are replacing 2700 in parts and still want me to pay 1000 in labor. I dont think so.
