E90 Production Ends October 2011. E92/E93 Produced Until At Least June 2012

The current BMW E90 generation is soon coming to an end, including the E90 M3 sedan. Based on the official BMW production schedule (see below), all E90 3-series and E90 M3 sedan production will cease in October 2011.

E92 coupe and E93 convertible convertible fans have some more time, however. The E92 and E93 will continue to be produced until at least June 2012 (along with the E92/E93 M3).

I was sad when we saw this info, the e90M is an amazing car! get them while you can guys!

the next gen M have a lot to live up to a big act to follow.

I wish I could get my hands on one of these, even the E92, but I won't have the funds available for purchase for at least another 4-5 years.

I would've really liked to buy one brand new, configured the way I want it.

My dream config for the E92 M3 is Silverstone on silver extended leather, all options, 6mt, and carbon roof.

Or, if I go the individual route, E92 M3 in green (the non-metallic one) with ivory extended leather and green stitching, same options as the non-individual one, except black grilles, tips, and wheels.

I must admit though, I haven't always liked the M3. However, that was when I was younger and didn't know and understand what these machines represent. I would even like to buy an E46 M3 coupe, but it would have to be 6mt, not the smg and have low miles.

Finally - the official word. Thank you Jason.

It looks like some of the South African E90 3 series models will be in production until December, which partly explains how they will keep supply up until F30 production begins in early 2012.

Also, this appears to confirm that there will indeed be no MY2012 E90s at all. This is a surprise if so. It means that, even though the F30 won't be on sale here until well into 2012, it will be called a MY2012. Either that, or they will simply be no MY2012 3 series sedan at all, and the F30 will be a MY2013.

Wow, can't believe this E90/E92 generation is already over.
I still remember back in 2008 when I first drove E92 M3 out of the dealer's lot.
Still feels like yesterday.

I noticed that too. I'm currently planning on placing my order for an E92 M3 in August so depending on the production month I could potentially have one of the last 2011 E92 M3's or one of the first 2012 E92 M3's. If I have a choice then I'm not sure which to go with... maybe one of the first 2012's.
