HKS Boost Gauge

I still had my hks gauge lying around that never sold from my msp part out so I decided to install the boost meter. probably won't be putting on the egt till later if at all. the hks model is db meter rs.

the face is black, numbers are red, with a chrome bezel. obviously not the same design as the bmw but pretty close.

thanks, i was a little afraid with how it would come out. there doesn't seem to be many places to mount the gauge cleanly. i wanted to hide the mounting bracket as much as possible. I was hesitant to mount it on the steering wheel column, as it would block some of the gauges, but i figured i won't be going over 140mph often, and i only need to know when the gas is low not high

took it for a spin, and looks like the car is boosting a healthy 0.4 bar (5.8psi) and -0.6 bar (17 inHg) vacuum.

its so much more fun to drive with a boost gauge.

How hard was the install? Are those signals easily accessible?

Install is pretty easy. If I were to do it again i could probably do it in less than an hour comfortably.

I tapped the diverted valve for the pressure sensor, cigarette lighter in center console for accessory/illumination/ground, and glove box light for constant power.

Get to the cigarette lighter by popping off the shift knob and then center console. And get to the glove box light by just popping off.
