.... my finger

Happened friday night. Took my eye off the saw for one split second and it just snapped my finger. I was lucky I didn't have any nerve or arterial damage. Also didn't cut any tendons so should have full usage of the finger once it heals. Had to remove nail in order to stitch one side back together. I think all in all I got about 20 stitches. Also slightly fractured both the first and second bones. I'm in serious pain.

you still got very lucky. happened to my friend's dad and he lost an inch off one or two of them.

you are very lucky. i'd imagine if it went further it could have snagged in the blade and tore up your whole hand..
