Well I certainly can't disagree with that, despite my reservations that this was by no means a true "production" race.
I think in some ways the most amazing performance was the little 130is'. Without turbos - and hence the extent of performance enhancement the regulations afforded the 335s, WRXs and Evo - they flattened most of the rest of the field including all the big Fordens and a few of the AWD turbo cars too. Glad I didn't have to sit in the back of one for the 12 hours though!
