for something that is not overly aggressive, the M3 trunk spoiler is a subtle upgrade that is affordable.

I have the fake M3 spoiler from jlevi... you get what you pay for. It looks good, but the paint quality is laughable and I had to fart around with it for a long time to get the fit just right. If I did it again I would buy the real thing from tischer.

No problem. I like the Mtech because it has that little lip thing cut into it, makes it look slightly more aggressive

Sorry but I dont understand the daylight question, its flush on the trunk if thats what you mean.

I got mine from JBSPEED, but I wouldnt recommend getting it there. The top of the spoiler looks a bit wavy.

Not sure where else you can get it.

yeah, that's what I meant: the spoiler contacts the trunk lid throughout its length? I'm wondering if there's an OEM option for this.

thanks again

I hate to revive such an old thread, but does anyone know what brand made this CSL add-on? It looks very good.

Don't know that exact spoiler. I got mine from here

http://www.autofans.biz/en/BMW-Aerod...NK-LIP-SPOILER

Then the big BUT, fitment isn't very good. From behind it looks good, but at the corners there is gap and it doesn't follow the trunk lines properly. Also top of the trunk has gap. I don't really like those gaps. Thats why i will change to real CSL trunk.

Here is some photos of mine.

You could get a real deal from 3DDesign, of course price is higher but i'm pretty sure fitment will be a lot better.
http://www.3ddesign.jp/english/product_aero_E90_91.htm

The OEM M-tech carbon fiber spoiler would be also good alternative and fitment will be spot on.

Ohhh yeaaah? Youuu liiiike? I don't know who had my car before me and had the spoiler when I bought it. After 2 years I'm gonna see about taking this off tmrw and replace with the CF performance spoiler.

Thanks for all the info and links. I like the 3DDesigns one, but if the price is too high it might be worth it to just get an actual trunk then.
