My 2007 323i did not come with heated mirrors!

What the hell is going on!?
I noticed this problem long time ago, filled in complaints and my dealer left me hanging.

My 2007 323i said the side mirrors were heated as standard equipment, however it isn't. Anyone else have the same thing, or is my Bmw screwed up?

They come on automatically as soon as you turn your heat on.

sounds like my old infiniti. it never had a separate mirror defrost button. it just came on as soon as you hit the rear window defrost.

i notice that on the lexus my dad has it is also one button (rear and side mirror defrost). but they label it that way.

have you tried using the rear defrost on a cold morning to see if your mirrors also were heated? kinda hard to tell now that we are getting warmer weather...

I brought the car to a dealer they took out the entire side mirror assembly and it is missing the unit to heat the mirrors. They also smashed up the mirror when trying to pry it out with a crowbar... They replaced the mirror with this shitty blue tint one. It's simply retarted. It said on the broshure it came with it and now I get shit?
I'm trying to get hold of the manager to see if he can do anything about it.

There's another E90 member, Epiphone I think, who is going through the same thing with his dealer. There's a thread about this some place.

Man the blue tint is complete trash, I am so pissed off at my dealership. Looking in the blue tint on a bright day is like looking into someones HID lights. Damn it man, who else is going through the same problem as me?

wtf??? blue tinted is the OEM one?? how come mine isn't blue tinted?????
it only changes color when the sensor in the back mirror gets light reflected by the cars behind......... I was always curious... seeing other 323i, 325i have blue tinted side mirrors, and I dont????????

you have premium package, premium package includes auto-dimming exterior mirrors, didn't you read the brochure and the option list when you order your car?

Yeah I know that, but I want xenons so I'm asking everyone to see if they're selling or changing they're current xenons into Euro xenons .

if you think 900 bucks is expensive, then you're SOL. 900 is the cheapest I've seen, the average price for a pair is over 1,000 bucks.

Saw a pair on ebay for 300$, US ones.
Just the housing.

All I really want is the housing.

bro they go for $1500 EASY...if you are just looking for the housing, better off going to a junk yard....aint no way you gonna get just the housing. anyways, for angel eyes, you WOULD NEED ballast, footwell module and all the other stuff the guy is including...this has got to be the cheapest ive ever seen for adaptive xenons...

edit: im guessing you have halogens...even if you got the housing, your current setup would not work with the new housing...and you would have headlights that didnt work
