Angel eyes. Anyone played around with the color/bulbs?

I've seen some angel eyes on E90 that lights up blue/white instead
of plain halogen color.

I was wondering if it is simple bulb replacement, and if so,
what bulbs do I need?

If its not a simple bulb replacement, how did others do it?

I don't think anybody's been able to do this. This is from E90Fleet:

"The E90 light source is from a "light unit" with a integrated bulb

No one has been able to remove the bulb as far as i know"

It's not like the e46 where you simply replace the bulb.

man, natureboy you probably saw it too. the pics are actually everywhere..

white angel eyes(clear headlights though, so I assume euro/asia e90) matched with HID foglights.

So when I was looking at the angel eyes the other day I came to the conclusion that the bulb must be below the ring and the ring is lit via fiberoptics..... am I right? anyone?

Im sure its not like a neon tube in there where you can't do anything about it..

unless bmw knows a better way.

Don't they usually use LED bulbs for the light rings?
