Listnig of BMW shops in MA

I am loking for authorized BMW shops (non-dealer) to work on my BMW. I am specifically looking to have oil changes and basic things done (pluas, a 1,200 mile oil change after the break-in).

Any help appreciated.

I live in the City (North End) and my parking is a public garage.

Things I need done are strut tower brace, fogs, and oil changes (and other things along the way).

Are they HID fogs, or halogen replacement?

Strut bar is easy.. if you just need a torque wrench, you could swing by and install it..

Just the regular halogens... it looks like a pain to do just on the street.

I am also not 100% sure the OEM strut bar fits the sedan (some people raising doubts)

Yeah, I've heard about the OEM strut bar and was going to ask you about this..

Halogens aren't bad at all. Just takes some time. I did mine last week. What are you puting in?

The Xenesis bulbs from Bimmian.com

Yeah, Regina is great, but the last 3 times I picked up pizza, things got messed up in one way or another. So now, we alternate with Upper Crust. I also live across from Mikes, so I gained a little weight when I first moved here.

i love the north end, my wife grew up on commercial st. i prefer Modern to Mikes but thats just me. btw i never take my car to the north end any more the roads just beat me up so when my wife and i go into town to shop we usually take the T or i make her drive.

Have you guys used Landshark Automotive in Natick?

Also, I am looking into the secondary cat delete/redo piping mod that a few others have done already. Landshark is balking at that mod, but they would be more than happy to install an Eisenhaus exhaust.

Turner Motorsport (for the hard stuff or high precision, I would go here. You can't see your car being worked on though, so that's a real turnoff). $$$$$$

Mighty Motors in Somerville (Jim is gone though, sadly.. ask for Sam, younger dude, nice guy) $$$$

Mike's (?) .. there's another new place in Somerville.. the mechanic there is a prestigious race mechanic, the details elude me, never been there. PM me if you want me to look it up.

Landshark in Natick is recommended by some, and I know someone who goes there. I've never used them. $$$$$

I know a bmw tech

hey guys,

I have a friend that works for BMW for over 10 years as a tech (I dont want to give out his work info)...anyways, he does oil change and other stuff at a residential garage on his free time. He charges $45 (or maybe $50) for an oil change. I'm sure he can do other stuff also. Let me know and I'll intro him to you.

Check out the "Freinds of the Boston Chapter" section on the chapter's website: http://www.boston-bmwcca.org/friends/index.aspx

Damn! Right across the street from Mikes? You suck!
