There were some Tescos in the Kent area with contaminated fuel recently, can't remember where I read about it though.
May have been the Bexley, Sidcup area actually.

Where are you?

So, the light didn't go off. I took it to my local independent today.

After hooking it up to the scanner the warning was:

Mean average coolant temp too high.

He topped the coolant level up and reset the light and I was on my way.

He warned me and said that this could be a sign of an impending sensor failure, but to give it a couple of weeks and see if it stays off.

He also said the cat will need de-sulphurising at some point which can be done by letting the computer run through a program cycle on the engine.

Anyone else come across this?

Maybe not then.

I am now looking at selling this thing and getting another Honda. It seems like a bit of liability I think. Doesn't inspire confidence reliability wise.

Anybody fancy a E91 318i SE Efficient Dynamics 2008 with 47K on the clock for 8.8k?
