Currently deployed so my wife took the car to Alex for coding. She said Alex was really nice and the coding took all of 10 minutes.

So props for friendly, quick service

Thanks Alex!

I just got my first BMW (2011 328i Convertible) this weekend and am reading up on "Coding." Please forgive my terribly NEWBIE questions.... Can someone point me to a list of things that CAN be coded? Or is it just easier to ask if what I want can be coded?

The dealer told me the car is pre-wired for Satellite Radio and Alarm, but they are not installed..does this mean they can be turned on with a code?

The car also doesn't have CA.. I'd like to have that, but not if it's a huge expense.

Does coding interfere with my warranty? Or is it something I should wait until my warranty is over to do?

Thank you for being patient with my newbie questions!

It really is. You can read up all you want about how to please a woman, you can look at all the diagrams in the world, but just like the clitoris, you won't know what the hell an apex is before you actually find it.
