Grill color?

My e92 is monaco. I have blued out my light already...Would it be clashing if I got my grill blacked out and got the 328i black lower grills? OR should I get both grills painted monaco?

Personally I'd stick with the chrome. It helps give the front a break from all solid color. But that's just me.

Stick with the chrome. Some accents are nice. The lights are a tad ghetto already....

+1. I never understood why people would PURPOSELY do things to lower their light output.

If you want to go black, get one of those black plastic replacements, don't paint it. I think the replacements will be more durable.

The black won't clash if you add some other black accents like painting the bottom mesh black. Maybe you can also get some black roundel overlays to complete the look.

Leave the chrome. It helps the front stand out and keeps the classy look. If you start painting everything the same color, someone mistake it for a civic.

Oh gimme a break. Nobody is mistaking a BMW for a civic.

I painted my grills Monaco and I've gotten a lot of compliments. You may not like it and that's fine but comparing it to a civic is ridiculous.

OK I have already read a thread where a guy said he got pissed because someone thought his car was a civic.

Plus just because we love cars doesn't mean everyone else can tell the difference.
I was just at the NY Auto show and overheard a lady tell her husband that a Mustang looked like the Mercedes-Benz CLK 63 AMG Black Series.

Sooo OK. Not every has the same taste thats why they are called opinions.
