This guy is starting to remind me of a low-brow version of Vladimir Putin.

On Tuesday, she promised supporters in South Carolina that the price of gasoline would drop to $2 per gallon during a Bachmann presidency, compared with about $3.60 now, even though Washington has almost no say over the global price of oil.
holy shit. this dumbass has no fucking idea how commodity market works, and she is running for president. between dumb and dumber we got some real bright ideas... that's awesome.

No offence, but I think a lot of people here don't inform themselves before voicing their opinions.

In Ron Pauls defence, there is not one time he said he wanted to take away abortion rights or marriage rights. Although he has his views on it, he is a clear advocate on government staying out of the issue and that it should be left to the state.

I'm Canadian, not ashamed of it, and a lot of us here can tell that Ron Paul would be the best choice for you. If you only took the time to inform yourself before choosing to disregard him. His minimalistic government may be quite different from what ANY other candidate preaches, but at least he backs it up with ideals, solutions, and maybe most important to your country of patriots, The Constitution.

Time to put Donald Trump back on the list. Perhaps as a third-party challenger against the Republican Party nominee:

"DONALD Trump makes no bones about the fact that he hasn't given up entirely on his ambitions to sit in the Oval Office at the White House.
"I'm waiting to see what happens in respect to the Republicans and who the choice is going to be before I make a decision," an amiable Trump told me yesterday, on the eve of his first trip to Australia for decades.

"It depends on two things - the economy, which I think will continue to be bad as long as we have bad leadership, and also, very importantly, who the Republicans choose.

"So we are going to see who that is and at the end of a period of time we are going to make a decision and we'll see. But the polls had me as number one all the time I was doing it.""

Donald Trump won't officially declare because once you do, your financial books become public. I imagine there's some things that he doesn't want the general public to know (e.g., maybe he's not as rich as you think he is - which is most likely true).

Also, you have to declare conflicts of interest and completely change your investment strategy. And of course, your life becomes a completely open book to the opposition research teams that are literally combing through every area of your life to find something embarrassing that can damage your credibility.

The vacation thing has never bothered me. I don't know why people complain about this. Those "vacations" are never really vacations. Essentially those days are simply work days away from the WH where you don't have to wear a suit and make any public appearances. If you think they're just chillin' on the beach, sipping a mudslide, you're sorely mistaken.

And frankly, I'd like to have my Chief Executive well rested and enjoy some time with his family every once in a while. Being the President is a 24 hour job and you have the weight of the world (literally) on your shoulders.

Huntsman and Johnson are there to make the other candidates look good. I, too, wish Thune ran but we have to take what we've got. Personally, I really dislike Romney because he's a liberal republican. He won't even repeal Obamacare, just hand out waivers therefore allowing that law to continue spewing its venom on the country. I like perry and would like to see him go against Obama but the only guy that speaks the truth and has real solutions is Ron Paul.

Just so we have only one standard going forward, are you saying that only the actual soldier pulling the trigger gets credit for a military success? His fellow solders and leaders up the chain had nothing to do with it? Just let me know if that is your standard, and we can have some fun applying it.

Why are you complaining about Obama not cleaning up after Bush's messes fast enough for your tastes? Adm. Mullen just got done announcing that the military was on track for withdrawal from Iraq within the next 3 months. Why ya cryin' for?

I'll admit they scurried away like cockroaches but they are still out there now operating under different names. Look it up.
