Never mind...I just found out that BMW doesn't make it anymore.
I guess I'm going to use 303 unless any detailing aficionado's know of anything better to protect rubber seals, etc. |

Yep, tried to get this stuff a few months back from BMW but they had already discontinued it. FYI tho, gummi pflege isn't a proprietary product of BMW. You can still buy it, just not from BMW. I bought 3 bottles for myself from another source, here:
http://www.drivewerks.com/catalog/sh...inszt_pg10.htm For anyone not familiar with this product, it's a great product that's gotten great reviews for many years now. Here's a description: Conditions and maintains weather seals around doors, windows, and trunk lids with an easy-to-use built-in foam applicator for simple and mess-free application. Prevents rubber from drying and cracking due to oxidation, extreme temperatures, and UV exposure. Maintains elasticity/flexibility. Restores dried weather seals to original condition. Reduces wind noise due to dry seals. Prevents seals from sticking in freezing temperatures with an anti-freeze agent. Solvent-free, water-based formula. |

Oh and if you ever have any creaks due to any rubber seals, this will take of that too. Overall, it's just a good product to apply, whether it's to take care of an already present problem, or just as a maintenance/preventative measure, even on a new car.

The new BMW product is Carbaflo. It is said to last longer, but it is expensive at ~ $40 and it is a small tube. But a little goes a very long way.
Silocone based products like Gummipfledge can have a detrimental impact on rubber after prolonged use. |
