E90 2011 328XI - Cold Start / Rough Idle - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Hello,

My cold starts are longer then warm ...
Car is not smooth after startup ...

Warm idle is OK but no great ...

Car has no warranty ...

No Codes/Shadow Codes

Cleaned MAF, Replaced Battery

Now thinking but Fuel Pump, Injectors or there is Vacuum Leak ...

Any ideas ?

How many mi/km on the MAF and spark plugs?

Start with something easy. What kind of gas are you using? A high quality premium fuel?

Car was Imported from a different part of world ... N.A. BMW will not warrant any work ...

Any ideas what could be the problem ... I know that there is a lot posts.

So you bought it unseen from out of country with an unknown history. If you bought it from north America you can order a carfax report from the states or a carproof report from Canada to see if anything is amiss.

Also ask your local dealer for a printout of the cars maintainance history, they will first blackout the previous owners information.

I would take it into my local BMW dealership and have them give me a repair estimate then decide whether I would do any of the work myself.
