Lowering springs and the 335d
Hi I am looking for lowering springs for my 2011 335d which is on stock non sport suspension.
Please let me know your opinion I don\'t want to drop it too much as I live in pothole province (Quebec) I had eibach on my Supra and liked them. |

You need more then just springs if you have the non zsp suspension. You will need dampers to handle the higher spring rate of lowering springs otherwise you will be unhappy with the ride.
BMW Performance Dampers and Springs will lower your car but still keep the ride height high enough that pot holes or speed bumps will not be of concern. You can buy them from GetBMWParts.com (Tischer BMW). If you like Eibach springs, consider the Pro Kit springs paired with Koni FSD dampers. The Eibach springs will provide the most conservative drop from an aftermarket spring while at the same providing a stock-like zsp ride quality. Other than that do a there are plenty of posts here on the subject to include a thread I started with pictures of my d after the suspension install. |
