I noticed that PTF started selling the SPEC clutches recently as well and many other parts. Sick deals on some stuff on their website. I think I'll be going with either the stage 2+ spec clutch or the 3+ but with the new steel single mass flywheel that they just released. People are reporting next to no chatter which is a big win compared to what I recall hearing on most single mass flywheel-ed cars out there in the past.

Fuel efficiency I noticed a small change. I immediately or about 5-10% better mileage and after a few thousand I saw approx 12-15%. I was getting only 400km/tank and then saw 450+/tank. Keep in mind I added a Stett CAI and that may of helped somewhat due to lower temps. Cleaning valves is usually more so to cleanup rough idling, jumpy gear shifting and other small irritating issues with fuel management and response. I definitely recommend it and then throw on a catch can to help keep it clean. |

Another bump for Ivo. I've been going to him for the last 1.5 years or so back when he was still a forum secret, haha. Get all my work done there and see him about once a month/2 months.
He's recently hired a new guy, a few years younger than me, around 21 I think. Great guy and he knows his stuff, but he's a bit clumsy. Good thing Ivo still checks over his work. Luckily I was just getting minor engine work done, but for anything extensive I'd probably make sure to request Ivo does it all. Ivo is absolutely top notch and is extremely diligent in what he does. It's obvious from the get go that he's super careful, which is my main concern and why I don't do alot of work myself because I'm a clumsy idiot. But ya, let this just be a heads up, although the new guy is good, he's still young and has a bit more to learn in terms of diligence.

^the younger guy only works there on Saturdays I believe, his dad owns the truck garage across the shop. He's a car guy and good to chat with. I'm there this Saturday for my clutch install.

Does anyone know how many hours of labour did Ivo need to change subframe bushings?

^ +1 would like to know as well.
ALSO, for those whom have done valve cleaning - do you see any fuel economy changes??? Performance gains??? (although I know they say its minimal, if any) |
