Post Britalman Install Dyno Data

Britalman primary catback complete exhaust installed on SPP 335i

Mods: 20" DPE wheels, brembo brakes, coilovers

Engine: stock
exhaust: Britalman primary catback exhaust system
ecu: stock

We showed a best gain of +14.9 HP & +16.9 torque at the 4500 rpm range.
Please compare the dyno sheets.

Overall there was approx. +8-12 HP gain and +10-15 torque gain throughout
the powerband!- see britalman exhaust dyno vs. stock exhaust dyno sheets.
Please compare dyno sheets

Maximum HP was 287.5 HP @ 5,924 RPM
Maximum Torque 307.9 ft/lbs. @ 3,495 RPM
Air temp. 71.3F
Recorded 04-13-07 @ 14:38:39 pm

The air temp. was 16.5F degrees hotter during the Britalman installed dyno run, versus the earlier stock dyno run. There is
a possibility the stock exhaust run would of been slightly worse at this
later time and temp, bear in mind this is only an assumption.

The Britalman exhaust is coming out sometime in June with an estimated pricing below $1900.00.

The M Shop is a Britalman distributor so we'll be carrying and installing these systems once they're released.

Pics coming soon within the next few weeks. This primary catback system utilizes two separate mufflers, is bolt-on, and requires no cutting.

I'm going to get flamed for this

I'm going to get flamed for this.... I think it sounds very ricey. I have heard about 4 Cat backs on the 335i's and they sound exactly like Accord rice buckets. JUST MY OPINION.

Ok, ignite flame throwers.... GO!

Now that I have that out of the way, I have a request and questions.

1) Can we get a startup and idle clip? It sounds like this has a deeper tone in first gear (dyno run sounded nice), I would like to hear startup and idle, and thoughts on the difference.

2) Will SPP be carrying this also?

3) Can we get 100mm (4") tips?

4) I take it this requires little to no welding. I don't mind welding, but bolt on is easier.

5) Please send to me now.

j/k. haha.

I believe Britalman was in search of an E90 335i for testing.

Downpipes will likely be introduced sometime during Summer 2007.

If you have an E90 sedan and are interested, email info@britalman.com.

From Britalman:

1. Start up and idle clip - Britalman will take when they test fit final production piece and install, hoping right before bimmerfest. Britalman will also provide pics of the actual production piece all polished and nice. Exactly how you will receive it out of the box.

2. SPP is definitely a stocking dealer.

3. No 4" tips for now. We find it looks too exaggerated, plus its right on the bumper almost, it can melt the bumper possibly, and turn bumper black more so easily, and especially if you really start modding your car later with aftermarket turbos and extensive tuning. If we get a huge amounts of requests, we can offer 4" tips.

4. Yes bolt on system. No need to cut factory system either.

5. Very soon we thank you for your patience.

One last thing. Britalman looking for a 335i sedan so it can compare what is different and make a version for that vehicle too.

Every day, more and more exhaust systems are being released for the E90. Its making my decision harder and harder lol.

This actually sounds pretty nice. It's a shame that the price is so high... I'd actually consider it once the E90 version is ready. Oh well, back to my trusty Milltek.
