335i vs 335is wheel gap

Hey peeps

I saw 2011 335is (19" package)and car looked very nice, howveer noticed that in comparison to 08-09 335i (sport susp)the front wheel gap seems much bigger. And I compared it to 335i witht he 19" wheels, is the tire taller on the 335i rather than on 335is and that makes it seem that the gap is smaller in 335i....or my eyes are playing tricks on me? I thought that if anything 335is should sit if not same height then lower than regular 335i, but seems like wheel gap is larger?

Thanks

I believe the 335is stock comes with 313 wheels but in 18" size.

I am referring to gap sizes given that both 335i and 335is have 19" wheels

Was the 335is brand new? Perhaps the susp hadn't settled yet?

Car has 16k on it, Id think that it settled in already... Anyone has a 335is and can confirm the gap difference between 335i?

Lower profile tires often will give the optical illusion of more wheel gap even when the gap between the tire and the fender are exactly the same as a higher profile tire.

That is the weird part, is that the profile of 335i (with 19"s) is same as the 335is (with 19"s) 35 up front 30 in rear

I thought BMW changed the suspension around a little to make the ride better on the runflats. This might have something to do with it.
