HUGE WTB favor! Canon lens or body!
For those of you in Honolulu (or know somebody who is there)...
...I have a HUGE favor to ask of somebody who shoots with Canon DSLRs. My girlfriend just arrived in Honolulu an hour ago, and I stupidly told her to take my 5D on the trip instead of her XSi. But I forgot that she only had a Tamron 17-50mm on her and that doesn't work with the full-frame 5D. So, is there anyone on the island who has a crop sensor camera like a XSi that I could rent from you or I guess even purchase to work with her Tamron lens? Or alternatively, I can purchase/rent a lens from you to work with the 5D? Thanks a bunch...damn that's total negligence on my part

Not this particular one. It was made for the aps-c sensor. This Tamron lens WILL mount to the 5D, but you will see massive vignetting on the corners and edges, almost as if you had a real fisheye lens look, but without the fisheye effect. I guess, like tunnel vision.

would be nice to have all the options available for all the DSLRs but that's not the case. besides, all the best lenses are EF anyhow so no reason for the full frame people to complain. |
