For the E60 M5's, quite a few were sold in the States as Manuals....I believe the US might have been the only ones that actually got the Manual option, I don't think they were sold in Europe.

I love the M5's, but don't expect them to be a lot faster than the 335i up here...but that noise would probably put my butt in one if I had the means.

The new F10 TTV8 5-series (non M5) is probably quicker and faster at our altitude than the E60 M5...have you looked at those?

Must be really rare to find a manual. I bet the manual ones are still very desireable aka still expensive.

I'm with Craig, I think the manual was much more common than you guys think. Those had the SMG automated manual, correct?
