I've been using this stuff for the last 3 years or so and think it's amazing. The beading effect seems to last for ages.

Looking good.

I like a lot of the Meguiars range. It seems to perform well without costing too much.

I found the cheaper of the tyre dressings works better though.

One of the polishes I've got is not very good though. It's sticky and the finish is not too great to be honest.

I bought some of this at the weekend before doing my car. http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/s...ource=shopping

You are still getting 3 for 2 at Halfrauds and I was really impressed with the finish. It made a real good job.

I like Autoglym extra gloss protection too. It gives a nice shine.

Their HD wax is good too.

I like changing all the time to compare results.

I don't keep too many photos.

This was with the Mequiars polish I don't like but the Autoglym HD wax saved the day.

Used the Meguiars tyre cleaner just to go around the engine plastics at the weekend.

For me: Poorboys black hole + Collinite 915 wax.

The black hole glaze is fantastic stuff for sure though.. Really makes the paint look so much deeper

Glaze first then wax on top? And how many layers of wax do you normally use? I found that some waxes don't sit well with the Black Hole glaze, and sometimes you need to do multiple layers of wax to get a durable finish. In saying that, I'm using Swissvax waxes so a bit different to the Collinite

The glaze washes off very easilly, whereas the wax doesn't.. So you seal the glaze onto the car by putting wax on after. Is the theory at least...

I tend to go:

Glaze
Wax
Glaze
Wax
Glaze
Wax

Well.. I put 2 coats on when I got the car and have topped up with one additional coat of each every few months since then. Takes about 2 hours to get full coverage of the car by hand of both layers so the occasional sunday afternoon session sorts her out.

Personally the two products seem to work very well together... Definitely improves the deepness of the black no end and hides swirls superbly

I usual use car shampoo not wash and wax this takes all the old layers of wax of. I then snow foam the car then give it a vigorous wash

After the car has been washed I dry with micro fibre cloths not chamois then polish the car.

After the car has been polished I then go round and put atleast 3 coats of wax on the car because the shampoo has taken all the old layers off. I do this once a month and just wash the car without wax or polish inbeteen. Got my rotary polisher on order now aswell
