Low Dust Brake Pads

I just want to hear what low dust or dustless brake pads people have tried and what they did or didn\'t like.

Please chime in

I like my AKebonos in terms of dust. My wheels stay looking fresh much longer then my paint does. So I just only clean the wheels when I'm washing the car.

Ditto. The car gets dirtier than the wheels.

What about stopping? Do these low/no dust pads stop as well? How long do they last? Less dust would be awesome.

You give up some stopping power with low dust pads. I recently swapped out my low dust pads with Hawk HPS. The HPS definitely stops better (closer to stock), but there is a bit more dust (still a lot less than stock though).

I was using Disc Italia Titanium Kevlar pads from brakeworld. They were okay, but not as grabby as the stock pads. Brake dust was non existent. At first I was worried because of the lack of bite, but they got better after a few hundred miles. less initial bite than the OEMs, and required a bit more pedal pressure. I'd say mid-range pressure/grip was nearly the same as the OEMs, but tapered off again at very high pedal pressure. It was a more linear pedal feel than stocks.

I had these pads for nearly a year and they are hardly worn at all and the rotors look nearly brand new. The low dust on these were also great. less dust after 1 month of driving on these than 1 week (or less) of driving with stock pads. And they were silent too.

We've had Cool Carbon brake pads installed on a few of our shop cars, and they dust less than OEM pads, while still improving the pedal feel. We've got these pads in stock if you need a set

Cheaper than all of the above, keeping oem brakes($0 at dealer). My wheels stay clean longer than the paint.

When you wash the car you have to treat again.
