Do you prefer backing into parking spots?

Yes, you are far less likely to hit someone or something.

Whereas when you back out people/other cars/shopping carts can be flying at you from nearly all sides.

yes, less chance of hitting cement parking stops there by damaging/scraping the front bumper...

Line up the top of the curb, so that it is just visible under your driver-side side-view mirror.

I've never hit the curb in any BMW in the last 10 years with that trick.

On topic, I generally try to park in places where I can drive in and drive out without reverse. (aka pumps spots at a gas station, outfield in a big lot.)

Yes. I have parking sensors so it's a breeze to be accurate.

always.

my old apartment complex had a stupid rule about not backing into a parking spot for some unknown reason. i completely ignored it, so they would ticket me. but since tickets were issued by the stupid security/maintenance contractor, they would not stand in court. i got like 60 or those things. lol

only when i think it'll be a pain to leave. like concert or something where there will be a line to get out. people aren't going to give you the opportunity to back out.

Don't know, works perfect for me too. If you're taller you're also further back, should make up for the height difference.

It's all very precise... haha
